We're looking for some talented, 12-and-younger artists to craft a design for the 2012 Jungle Jog T-shirt that each participant will receive on race day. You can check out last year's winning design in the photo to the right!
To celebrate the return of lions to your Zoo, the animal for 2012 will, of course, be the lion!
The grand-prize winner will have their design on the 2012 Jungle Jog T-shirt, get to ride in the pace car during the 5K on Sunday, July 15, 2012 and will receive up to five T-shirts for their family. A first-prize winner will be chosen in each age group
(Up to 6 years old, 7 to 9 years old and 10 to 12 years old). The grand-prize winner will be selected from all categories. Each age group winner will get a $10 coupon to the ZooShop.
AGE GROUPS: Please go by your child's age as of Feb. 10, 2012
All artwork must:
- Feature a lion
- Have bold, clean and simple lines so that the design can easily transfer to a T-shirt
- Include the child's name, address, phone number and age on the back
- Be postmarked by Friday, Feb. 10, 2012
- Be done by a non-professional artist that is 12 years old and younger
- Only one entry per child
