A Step Into Africa: It's all in the details now.
With the opening of A Step Into Africa less than five months away, there are plenty of details to be completed to ensure the exhibit is at its very best for the opening. Those details include landscaping, educational signage and installation of educational components, donor recognition signage, equipment installation in the Crater Canteen, painting, picnic tables and benches to put in, as well as the introduction process for our three new animal stars of the summer, lions!
And of course, all of our Zoo staff are preparing for the huge crowds expected for this transformational moment in Zoo history. We can't wait for you to "step" into Africa!
