STATUS IN THE WILD

International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) Red List status: Least concern. The rainbow boa does not have any special status as they reproduce naturally across a majority of Northern South America.

HABITAT

They live in humid tropical forests and savannas of Colombia, Northern Venezuela and Northern Guiana.

DIET

The rainbow boas are carnivorous (meat eaters) and feed on small mammals, birds and reptiles.
