The Zoo's vision of Africa is coming to life.
Opening in May 2012!

We are thrilled to be deep into the third and final phase of
A Step Into Africa Exhibit!
Modeled after the Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania, this unique exhibit will bring lions back to the Zoo for the first time in more than two decades. A double-decker safari bus, a Maasai Hut Village, a simulated archeological dig zone and more will give
you an engaging, educational and entertaining experience like no other.
