Orangutan (M.O.M.) Awareness Day
Orangutan M.O.M Day is held on Mother's Day each year. M.O.M. stands for Missing Orangutan Mothers. The plight of orangutans in Borneo is a tragic story. The goal of our event is to aid in orangutan conservation, raise awareness and educate the public that there is hope for these animals with our help. Come to the Zoo on Sunday, May 13 to learn what you can do! Activities will include: Keeper talks, activities for the kids and docents on hand to answer questions and offer information about our fascinating cousins.
