National Grandparents Day
The first Sunday after Labor Day was declared National Grandparents Day in 1978 and has been celebrated every year since in honor of our nation’s grandparents! To show appreciation for our own community of grandparents, the Zoo will celebrate with a special day, too. Send the kids off with Grandma and Grandpa for a day of fun and educational bonding in a one-of-a-kind setting.
