For schools:
You MUST be a New York State public, private, parochial or home-school program
visiting the Zoo for an educational purpose. Pre-Kindergarten programs are also considered schools. You MUST have
AT LEAST 10 individuals 3 years of age or older.
Before school, after school, summer recreation and daycare programs located within a school do NOT qualify as a school program (please see
Group Rates).
Teachers are free of charge. One chaperone for every 5 students is free. Additional chaperones must pay the
School Rate. Seneca Park Zoo members coming as part of a School Group Visit are charged the
School Rate. In this case, they are not free because they are coming as part of this program.

For Groups (daycare centers, rec centers, summer camps, senior groups, etc):
A group is 10 OR MORE individuals who are 3 years of age and older. Seneca Park Zoo members coming DO NOT count toward the 10 or more in your group. In this case, they are free because they are members.
