Open daily 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Grounds close at 5 p.m.
You MUST be a New York State public, private, parochial or home-school program visiting the Zoo for an educational purpose. Pre-Kindergarten programs are also considered schools. You MUST have AT LEAST 10 individuals 3 years of age or older.
Before school, after school, summer recreation and daycare programs located within a school do NOT qualify as a school program (please see Group Rates).
One teacher or chaperone for every 5 students is free. Additional chaperones must pay the School Rate. Seneca Park Zoo members coming as part of a School Group Visit are charged the School Rate. In this case, they are not free because they are coming as part of this program.

Please note: Forms must be submitted AT LEAST three weeks before your visit. Some dates fill up quickly. Be sure to provide a second- and third-choice date. If you are booking an animal presentation, tour or Expedition, you will be contacted to confirm.
