Summer Camp

Summer ZooCamp 2012 - June 11 through August 31

What an exciting year for ZooCamp! In May of 2012, the Seneca Park Zoo will be opening our new exhibit A Step Into Africa. This exhibit will allow your child to experience what it's like to go on safari to Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania, Africa! Of course, all of our camps will get to see and enjoy this brand-new area of the Zoo. In fact, this year we are adding many new camp themes that will focus on the animals and other features of this new exhibit! Camps include: animal encounters, games, crafts, tours, behind-the-scenes sneak peeks and more.

- There is an 18-child maximum for school-age camps and a 12-child maximum for preschool camps.

- Each camp is managed by two camp counselors and ZooTeen volunteers.

- Camps are held rain or shine.

- Camps are held in our indoor classrooms or a large outdoor event tent protected from the weather and blocked off to regular Zoo visitors. Pre-school camp will always be based in indoor classrooms.

- All campers will spend time outside each day and should dress accordingly.

- We provide one T-shirt per child per camp and daily snacks. Lunch is not included.

- Payment must be received at time of registration and spaces cannot be held.

- No refunds for cancellations.Credit toward another ZooCamp will be given.

- Please be prompt in picking up your child. Late pick up fees may apply.

- Please make us aware of any allergies your child might have.

- Any adults picking up the child must be approved by the parents and I.D. will be checked.
